So guys, im a real noob when it comes to arduino and i could use some help with the code, any help is welcome now a little bit of what i would like it to do. I want to control a Brushless ESC using arduino as the PWM converter/generator. Maby add a I 2 C OLED to display RPM(Optional)?:) I am using Mach 3 that has a 0 to 100% PWM signal. ESC needs a 4%(motor stop) - 10%(full speed) PWM signal. Safety first thou, there is a 5v enable signal.
If the arduino does not see that it should not generate a signal to the ESC no matter what PWM in signal it sees. If the signal is 0%, ESC will turn of after few seconds and Beep(requires ESC restart to power on again) So basicaly, If enable = 0 or LOW, PWM out = 0 (no matter what) (with OLED Display = Emergency Stop) If enable = 1 OR High, PWM = 4% + read PWM IN If PWM in = 0-100%, PWM out = 4-10% (with OLED Display = RPM Based on PWM% in) Let me know if i didnt make any sense or if it's doable or impossible,;) Maby im expecting too much from it. Thanks up in advance!
It's hard to find all the info you need on doing an Ultra-Micro Parkzone AR6400 'brick' receiver brushless motor conversion. Believe me, I had to wade thru lots of chit-chat on forums to get the info I need. This is what it all boils down to: 1 - get a diode from Radio Shack. I used this one - but I read that this one - will work just as well.

2 - get a 5 or 10 gram micro brushless motor like these two - or or or, if you like to spend 3X as much for basically the same thing- an E-Flite Park 180 motor from Horizon Hobby (no link, sorry). 3 - get a micro ESC like these - or or a much more expensive E-Flite ESC from Horizon. 4 - get out your soldering stuff, don't drink a lot of caffiene, put on your micro-vision and wire it like this (step 5 - the most important part - is below the picture) Step 5 - do this conversion thing: turn on radio, push and hold full up and left throttle/rudder stick and power up your brick until it blinks twice like this - (this is the part that gave me problems). Enjoy the power!
